Medicare is complex — and those transitioning to it often feel overwhelmed by its alphabet soup of coverage options, eligibility requirements, enrollment timelines and fee structures. Explaining Medicare to a maturing, multi-lingual audience in a truly simple way is no simple task, but that is exactly what HealthFirst charged Pappas MacDonnell to do. I was called in to support this effort in two ways. First, I conducted a competitive analysis and provided insights to inform the content, creative and implementation strategy. Then, I architected a modular, responsive framework with key templates and a library of custom and reuseable UI components to help the team create an engaging experience that gives members and prospects a better understanding of Medicare.
