Just a few good friends working on a storybook app conceived by Ben Fascitelli. I am responsible for all sonic parts of the user experience, including this theme song that I composed and recorded. My biggest challenge was to create a piece of music that would intrigue kids, but wouldn't drive adults crazy as it loops on the title screen. Each instrument and melody is meant to represent a character in the story, represented together here in the theme song, with variations on each character's melody woven into the soundtrack whenever he or she makes an appearance. We tackle this in our collective "free time," so with any luck it will be done by the time our inspiration and muse, Ben's son Simon, turns 18.
